How To Get Work In Films as an Actor Workshop Lori Wyman, an Emmy Award nominee and ARTIOS award winning casting director and author will direct a workshop with panelists Marjorie Morhaim, a children's manager and coach; Marc Durso, an acting coach; Marc Macaulay, a working actor; Bob Lasky, a well known headshot photographer who will discuss the tools that actors need to look more professional as they embark on their careers; a talent agent from one of the local talent agencies will discuss actor opportunities. Lori Wyman is a member of the Casting Society of America, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and the NSA. She is considered one of the top casting directors in the entire Southeastern United States.

Marc Durso, Act True Workshop This is an introductory workshop for professional training that actors can use the rest of their careers. No need to drop all the artificiality of Commercial/Sit-com/TV acting and scramble to develop a Truthful, Honest, Human acting technique as they transition into much more demanding Film roles. The Hagen Object Exercises process engages the imagination of each unique individual so that they are self-reliant, inventive, courageous professionals making their own creative choices from the very first day of class.

Maverick Entertainment has been in business for over 13 years and will share its expertise and experience in the film entertainment industry through this fun and informative workshop. The workshop will focus on four major parts of film distribution; including, acquisition, legal paperwork, delivery, and marketing. The workshop is designed to give filmmakers and film buffs alike an insider look at the world of film distribution and what it takes to get a film from screener to store shelves. David Goodman, was the founder of DVD International and the DVD Acquisition and Development Group, Inc. and has more then 20 years in the home entertainment industry. His experience includes executive positions with MGM, CBS, and FOX Home Video. The largest independent laser videodisc distributor in the U.S. In 1995, U.S. Laser Video Distributors was sold to Image Entertainment. In August 2002, Goodman was one of the five inaugural inductees into the Digital Hall of Fame.

At the end, Gregory will host a Q&A sessions with parents and talent alike. Among the 20 questions, he will address issues about budget, publicity before during and after production, distribution and what to do if you don‟t get it, media exploitation and tangible production topics such as make up, fx and gore.
